FAQs
What is the Institute for Connected Healthcare?
The ICH offers comprehensive consulting and virtual and in-person educational events. Our vision is to be at the forefront of healthcare management innovation by connecting preclinical research to clinical results through management techniques that empower and connect people across disciplines throughout our healthcare systems.
Why is a Preclinical Team creating a platform to connect healthcare systems and drive successful management?
Our mission in practicing comparative medicine is to support research that translates into better care and health for the whole world including everyone and every living thing in it. Steven Covey reminds us to “begin with the end in mind.” Innovations in treatment and healthcare all begin with research.
Because we work in the preclinical research world and are located at an internationally known world renowned academic hospital, we feel we are uniquely positioned to model good management practices, good environmental practices, and connect stakeholders across our healthcare systems so the ideas and innovations that happen in research, translate into a better world from a whole-health perspective.
Can I apply to be a part of the team or work as a contractor?
Our goal is to be as inclusive as possible and we welcome experts from every field of healthcare and healthcare management to contribute to our educational offerings. The Institute for Connected Healthcare seeks only the best educators and seasoned practitioners in the human and animal healthcare fields to share our vision. If you are interested in joining our team or contributing to our educational platforms, please contact: gmcronin@mgh.harvard.edu
